Photo ID Badges

use photo ID badges in schools for added securityOne of the essential features of a photo ID badge is the security it offers. Provide these for teachers and other school staff to ensure that the proper people are entering and exiting your building. Quickly and easily identify someone with photos and provide safety and security while at school.

They will also help with productivity. Teachers can focus on what they need to teach instead of worrying about other security issues. Pictures of an individual are on each tag, along with their name and title, to make recognition easier. With a quick glance, anyone can see who that person is and make sure they belong where they are.

Emblema Nomenpenia (NTDS)

Fact or Fiction

Is Emblema Nomenpenia, Name Tag Deficiency Syndrome (NTDS) real?

“Over a half of a million people suffer every year from Emblema Nomenpenia, more commonly known as Name Tag Deficiency Syndrome (NTDS),” said Scott Ginsberg, The Name Tag Guy.

The first thing to do is to check for any of the symptoms.

This first thing to know is that Emblema Nomenpenia impacts everyone.

curing Emblema Nomenpenia, Name Tag Deficiency Syndrome (NTDS) with name tagsYou may experience localized font shrinkage, inflammation of the company logo, noticeable eye irritation due to cluttered texts, the absence of upper-chest name tag placement and mild conversational uncertainty and frustration.

Other symptoms may include adhesive residue. Holes in the same spot on all of your shirts. Weird looks from other people as if they can’t see where your name tag is. Fidgeting with a lanyard to make sure your credentials are visible. And the list goes on.

Second, beware of the possible side effects.

Beware of sudden, severe attacks of name-forgetting. There is also a possibility of networking anxiety and unapproachable behavior. You may experience missed opportunities to make new friends or business contacts. And it may even cause feelings of annoyance due to the inability to say hello to a new member or employee whose name you can’t read because their name tag is turned backward.

Other side effects of NTDS can include embarrassment from a poorly located or illegible name badge. Awkward gazes at your figure from others. And not being recognized for who you are.

The last thing to do is to remain calm; you can fix this!

“This debilitating condition has run rampant through the American business community for many decades, experts say, although only recently has it been classified,” explained Ginsberg.

Kris Hay, the Communications Coordinator at the University of Puget Sound, offers her advice:

Appropriately worn, a legible name tag helps people remember your name and then quickly move on to exchanging information with you.”

Don’t Panic!

While NTDS is an entirely made-up disease, the side effects are real! So, this disease is easily treatable and completely curable.

The Cure: Wearing your name tag correctly

Set yourself apart from those around you and become more approachable by wearing a name tag. Many companies use name tags on a daily basis to help customers and consumers identify employees and staff. The primary usage of wearing a name tag is to provide a distinguishing feature to the wearer.

Saying “Thank You” In 3 Exciting New Ways

Expressing appreciation and saying thank you doesn’t have to be hard.

How often do we utilize all the tools we have? And how often do we realize the full extent of them? Sometimes saying thank you and name tags go hand in hand. That means these personalized tools don’t always have to be used as identification in a store or office. Name tags are so much more than that!

And, to prove that notion, here are a few fun ways to let someone know just how much you care.

Engrave a new name tag with someone’s favorite thing.

using a uv logo on a name tag to create a unique thank you gift for someone specialMake each name tag unique with an image or logo of someone’s favorite animal, outdoor activity, hobby or food. With several different available printing processes, engraving isn’t the only option here. Make it as colorful as you need with full color printing, or choose specific bright colors that will stand out with a UV logo.

Name tags don’t just have to be for names. Give your best friend a new title such as “Greatest Friend Ever” or “Best BFF.” Choose their favorite color from the wide variety of plastic and metal materials and make your thank you just as unique as the recipient.

Make your appreciation memorable with a personalized desk wedge.

Whether it’s a job well done, or for a friend who has been there through the thick and thin, sometimes a thank you needs a little bit more. Choose from our unique desk wedges and acrylic blocks something that will suit just about anyone. Each wedge will feature a special message for that special someone.

Sometimes, just remembering is the name of the game.

While it is easy to remember to say thank you for many things, sometimes the little things go without notice. If you need a little help in recognizing to say thank you, try ordering a customized sign that will remind you on a daily basis to watch for those little things. Or, order a bunch of name tags with a simple engraved message expressing your appreciation and give them out to friends, family or co-workers.

How to Use Name Tags at Your Christmas Party

Liven up your office Christmas party using name tags. The holidays are here again, and that means it is time to plan your office Christmas party. Each year you look for ways to make your Christmas party different or better than last year’s. That means changing the food, gifts, decorations or activities. Name tags are versatile products that can enhance a company’s celebrations in many ways.

Here are three ways name tags can add variety to your corporate Christmas party and bring more holiday cheer to you and your colleagues.

Dining

Placement name tags add class to your dining room table. Each employee’s name is laser engraved into a metal or plastic name tag, in an elegant font of your choice.

Serving wine or cocktails at your event? Wine tags help distinguish one person’s glass from another. Party attendees attach a tag with their name engraved on it to the bottom of their wine or cocktail glasses so they can easily find them again. Name tags also serve as labels for a banquet table or potluck so attendees know which food is what.

Games

Exchanging white elephant gifts at your Christmas party? Name tags make it easy to draw a person’s name to see who gets to choose a gift first. And unlike with paper strips, you won’t have to rewrite their names again next year.

If you want to have a different activity this year, there are several games you and your coworkers can play with blank name tags. Have each person draw a picture of something that represents them. Then, have everyone guess which picture belongs to whom. Or, write a question on each blank tag and give it to each person to pin on their shirt. Everyone then has to answer the question pinned on the person they’re talking to while they socialize. Be careful which markers you use as some markers may be permanent.

Gifts

Name tags make classy gifts, and having every employee wear a name tag that includes your business logo creates company unity and solidifies branding. You may choose the color, font and fastener for your name tags. And, you decide whether to have an employee’s name engraved or leave the name tag blank.

Already bought your employees Christmas presents for this year? A beautiful gift tag will make them feel extra special. Tape a name tag to a wrapped present or attach it to a gift bag. Ribbons make great gift tags as well.

However you choose to celebrate the holidays, name tags and badge ribbons can enhance your office Christmas party experience.
